Private Selection Himalayan Pink Salt is pure, hand-mined salt found naturally deep within the Himalayan Mountains. Crystallized more than 200 million years ago, its soft pink color comes from ancient sea beds that were covered with lava. This salt makes a great addition to any savory fare.

It contains a number of essential minerals including iron, magnesium, potassium and calcium. These trace minerals are what give this salt its wonderful white, pink and red colours.

Curing meats and seasoning grilled meats, fish, ribs, eggs, vegetables, soups, stews, pasta salads, as well as baking, and can be used for salt baths.
